Outreach Ministries

Outreach

We want to dream big:

We believe knowing God has the power to change everything. Our dream is for people to know God personally, find freedom in a transforming relationship with Him, discover their purpose, and use their gifts and abilities to make a difference in the lives of others. We believe nothing is too lost or broken for Him to heal, and we are committed to meeting physical and spiritual needs through outreach at Christian Assembly Church.

Our Purpose:

We exist to serve others by showing God’s love in practical ways through meeting the needs within our communities and spheres of influence. Simple acts of personal kindness can open hearts to the love of Jesus for both those being served and those serving. The CAC Outreach Serve team is made up of Outreach Small Groups and individuals who are using their gifts and talents to glorify God by serving others.

We want every person who is passionate about helping people to find the right opportunities to effectively use their gifts to build up the body of Christ and extend the Kingdom of God.

SERVE Day is an amazing opportunity to bless others and be blessed. Thousands will go out into our communities and show the love of Christ in real and tangible ways. CAC small groups will choose a project of their own that everyone can do together as a group on SERVE Day, so there will be many ways to get involved. Find or register a project by calling our church at 8139320690.

Harvest Ministry

Vision:

Harvest ministry vision is to develop relationships with the people in our church body and the community through a food bank in order to meet their physical and spiritual needs.”  This ministry is focused on meeting a person’s basic need – food.  With the rising price of food, many people are finding it difficult to live, and depend on local churches for help.  Christian Assembly Church Harvest ministry is a “no strings attached ministry”.

How are we doing it?

We have three teams of volunteers:

Registration

This team has the opportunity to create a first impression with our Food Bank friends who’ve never visited CAC before. We anticipate that this team will lead the way to create an atmosphere in which people feel welcome and loved.

Hospitality

This team focuses on making friends with all who visit our church by coming alongside them in 1-on-1 friendships. Many times, people in difficult financial situations need more than free groceries; they need someone to care about them, walk alongside them, listen to them, and pray for them.

Kitchen

This team handles our food supply. They’re integral in making sure that all our Food Bank friends receive food and are efficiently directed through the kitchen. They also oversee our food orders, donations, and deliveries. This team is the eyes and ears of our inventory and supply needs.
